Are you an experienced and motivated Head of Regulation and Compliance looking to work for a leading managed service provider?

The core purpose of the role is to head-up the regulation and compliance function of behalf of Glide Group, proactively owning key interfaces with INCA, BDUK/DCMS, Ofcom, and relevant others to maximise opportunities to reduce build cost, to increase customer revenues, improve competitiveness and to enhance Glide standing.

Main Responsibilities

- Positive influence our industry sector’s policy framework through regular, detailed, and specific engagements with Government bodies and industry groups

- Maintain comprehensive awareness of changes to the regulatory environment and wider operating context, asses’ implications, inform and make recommendations to Glide directorates and lead appropriate action in response

- Represent Glide in cross-sector forums and exploit all opportunities for liaison, co-operation, or enhancement of our competitive position

- Support C-level activities relating to Glide’s PR and industry relations

- Act as sole owner of Glide’s relationships with sector funding programmes

About You

Experience and Knowledge

- Capable of effective interactions with senior levels of Government and regulatory institutions

- In depth familiarity with operational delivery parameters of major industry suppliers e.g., Openreach

- Recognised competency in Project Management and process definition (PRINCE2 Practitioner)

- Practical understanding of audit management and compliance requirements

- High proficiency in usage/application of complex external platforms/procedures (e.g., DCMS DPS)

- Experience using GIS and mapping/data visualisation tools

- Expertise in manipulating large-scale customer datasets as well as interrogating internal databases and operational management systems

- Understanding of operational constructs in public sector

- Familiarity with infrastructure funding schemes and cross-sector engagement
